A person familiar with the New York Jets history will be their next head coach: Aaron Glenn.
The Detroit Lions’ defensive coordinator is leaving the NFC champs for Gang Green.

Glenn joins Ben Johnson (Chicago Bears) as coordinators leaving Dan Campbell’s staff.
Glenn played for the Jets from 1994-2001 after being chosen 12th overall out of Texas A&M.
He went to the Houston Texans in the 2002 expansion draft.
Glenn has his work cut out with a Jets franchise that consistenly finishes under .500 and fails to live up to hopes.
He will also be part of a process that helps decide what to do with another Aaron — Rodgers — as the team’s quarterback.
