A New-York bound Aer Lingus flight was forced to return to Dublin Airport yesterday due to a "technical issue".
The EI105 flight departed Dublin for JFK shortly before 12pm with 237 passengers on board.
However, the plane turned back due to a "technical issue" and safely landed in Dublin over two hours later, at 2:15pm.

The passengers were put on a replacement flight that left Dublin at 5:15pm Irish time.
A spokeswoman for Aer Lingus told Dublin Live: "Aer Lingus flight EI105 departed Dublin Airport yesterday morning en route to JFK with 237 passengers on board.
"The aircraft turned back due to a technical issue, and landed safely at Dublin at 14:15 local time. Passengers were re-accommodated on a replacement aircraft which departed at 17:15 local time.

"We apologise to our customers for this disruption to their travel plans."
A spokesman for daa told Dublin Live: "The flight in question returned to Dublin Airport due to a technical issue, before resuming its journey on Tuesday evening."
