In the first year since 2019 with no coronavirus restrictions to stop us partying, there is lots to do in and around Swansea this year for New Year's Eve. If you have been too busy with Christmas to plan your night out, do not panic. From pantomimes to parties, here are some last minute events you can book to see in the new year. House of AU Vodka: NYE at Peppermint, Swansea
What: Kickstart 2023 with bottomless prosecco, cocktails made with Swansea's popular AU vodka and four tapas dishes for £39.95pp. There will be two floors of music with resident DJs playing until 3am and dress code is dress to impress in glitter, glamour and gold.

Electro Swing at Hoogah, Swansea
What: If you are looking for something different to Wind Street, swing back to the roaring twenties for New Year's Eve this year with this dress to impress vintage party at Hoogah Bar + Kitchen. An all you can eat grazing table will be available for those with a meal ticket and bubbles will be served at midnight. DJ Tintertone will play swing and electro swing so you can party like it's 1929.

Beauty and the Beast, Swansea
What: If you are looking for some family fun, you can catch the panto on New Year's Eve. Performed at the Swansea Grand Theatre, this classic tale of a cursed Prince and the beautiful village girl Belle who saves him includes musical numbers, slapstick humour and plenty of classic panto fun.

Brewdog Hogmanay, Swansea
What: If a dram of whiskey at midnight sounds better than a glass of bubbly, then Brewdog could be a good choice for you this year. You can even bring along your pooch and treat them to a dog treat when the clock strikes 12! For £12 you can get a pint of beer or glass of prosecco, a bite to eat and whiskey at midnight.
If you are brave enough to venture out on New Year's Day, Brewdog's Hair of the Dog event offers two hours of unlimited Punk IPA, Punk AF or prosecco and a burger.

NYE Peaky Blinders Night, Port Talbot
What: Peaky Blinders fan? You can dress up and win a prize for the most authentic Peaky Blinder lookalike at this Birmingham gangster-themed party. Expect games, drinks and dancing!

Waterfront Winterland, Swansea
What: If you want to see the year off while skating on the ice and taking in the festive atmosphere, you can book a skating slot online for Waterfront Winterland this New Year's Eve. A great option for families or people who don't fancy drinking or staying out too late.

When: You can book skating slots from 11am to the latest slot which starts at 7pm.

Morgan's Hotel New Year's Eve Celebrations, Swansea
What: A popular and classy choice for a Swansea night out, packages for celebrations at Morgan's Hotel are now sold out but walk-ins on New Year's Eve are welcome and entry is free! Expect live entertainment and a sparkling atmosphere.

What: Something a bit different for those who don't fancy donning sparkly dresses or smart shirts. Sing along to a night of emo music to bring in the New Year and celebrate 16 years of Sin City. Expect songs by bands like Paramore, Fall Out Boy and A Day To Remember - if this was your era it's time to relive your youth and forget all about 2022.
