Wales have risen from ninth to seventh in the new World Rugby rankings without playing a match.
The latest Rugby Championship results, which saw Argentina beaten by South Africa and Australia lose to New Zealand in controversial fashion ( you can read the latest on that here ), have led to four teams changing positions.
It means the Wallabies, who Wales play in the group stages of the 2023 World Cup, are down to their lowest ever position of ninth, with Argentina just above them. Wales have jumped up to seventh, while Scotland are now sixth in the table.

The world's top five remains unchanged, although South Africa are now within striking distance of second-placed France. Ireland are top of the pile, with New Zealand fourth and England fifth.
The Rugby Championship concludes this coming weekend, with New Zealand at home to Australia and South Africa hosting Argentina. The All Blacks and Springboks head into the final fixtures tied on 14 points.
