Apple released a new trailer for its upcoming documentary about the New England Patriots, and it packs a lot of enticing material into just 60 seconds.
The Dynasty: New England Patriots is set to be released on Feb. 16 on Apple TV+ as a 10-part series. It is directed by Matthew Hamachek, who directed a Tiger Woods documentary for HBO in 2021, and produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard’s Imagine Documentaries.
The film will tell the story of the franchise’s historic run of success under Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, featuring interviews with the coach and quarterback, as well as owner Robert Kraft.

According to the trailer, the film won’t shy away from the Patriots’ controversies during that time period. It teases segments on the Spygate and Deflategate scandals, as well as tight end Aaron Hernandez’s murder conviction.
The trailer also hints at discontent within the Patriots’ ranks, with receiver Danny Amendola delivering the eyebrow-raising line, “We worked for Bill, but we played for Tom.”
Most interestingly, the trailer suggests that the film will address the circumstances behind Brady’s departure in 2020, with Belichick saying, “In pro football, nobody’s entitled to anything—you have to go out there and earn it.”
“I was pretty intent on proving myself,” Brady says.
