With Tennessee Titans fans rightly panicking about the possibility of Geoff Swaim being a starting tight end for the team in 2022, general manager Jon Robinson showed he did in fact have something else cooking.
Per multiple reports, the Titans are signing tight end Austin Hooper to a one-year, $6 million deal. Hooper provides a nice upgrade for Tennessee at the position, giving the team the well-rounded starting option it needed, and he comes at a fair price.
Not only has Hooper shown he has the chops to make an impact in the passing game, he’s also a solid blocker. He should fit very nicely in Tennessee’s offense in 2022.
