New tenants are being sought for a pub situated next to the canal in Nottingham city centre. Stonegate Group is advertising for a publican to take over at Fellows Morton & Clayton in Canal Street, which has a guide rent price of £654 a week.
The site was once offices to Britain’s largest 19th century canal freight operator and became a pub in the 1980s. According to a listing on Stonegate's website, the business has a potential turnover of £533,000.
The pub is said to be in a great location for heavy footfall, with a function room that has capacity for 30 people. Its bar is described as having "plenty of character and charm".
