A new Submachine Gun is coming to Fortnite: Battle Royale in tomorrow’s Content Update.
The update goes live at 5 am PST / 8 am EST and will include the new SMG which some are already calling an MP5.

It does look like an MP5, and looks quite a bit different from the previous standard SMG which was vaulted back in February:
The new Submachine Gun will join the Silenced SMG and the Tactical SMG so you never have to worry about having an SMG close to hand. We don’t have exact stats on the gun yet (more tomorrow!) but we do have a short blurb from Epic: “New SMG weapon with a fast rate of fire and improved mobility.”
It’s always fun to find new weapons in Fortnite even if they don’t become your favorite and even if they’re soon vaulted (guided rockets anybody?) There’s also leaks indicating some sort of pool floaty item may be coming to the game, possibly as early as tomorrow.
