New south Indian restaurant and takeaway set to open on Mapperley high street

A new South Indian restaurant and takeaway is set to open in Mapperley. Tuk Tuk on Woodborough Road will serve real Indian street food.

The restaurant's menu includes authentic curries, grills and healthy options. Tuk Tuk are also offering 20% to customers on their first order and 50% off their 10th order.

They are currently looking for takeaway staff and delivery drivers. The new restaurant replaces two takeaways, Caribbean Pride and Mei Wei Chinese.

Tuk Tuk is situated in a row of shops near Aldi which is also home to Welcome Chinese takeaway, Mapperley Off Licence and Royal Fish and Chips bar. The new takeaway will be next door to Royal Lets property rental agency. It is not known when it will open its doors to customers.
