A new furniture outlet store in Long Eaton is offering savings to help customers affected by the cost-of-living crisis. Sofa Brands Factory Outlet at Forbes Park Court, Toton Close, is offering customers up to 70 percent off some items.
Owned by sofa giants G Plan and Parker Knoll alongside Duresta and Collins & Hayes - with products crafted locally at the Parker Knoll factory, Sutton-in-Ashfield - staff have arranged a three day launch event where shoppers can enjoy free nibbles and fizz, as well as an extra 10 percent off all purchases in-store.
The launch event was arranged from Friday, March 31, to Sunday, April 2. At a Lounge Co. pop-up customers can also design their dream sofa or chair on touchscreens, comfort-test the display models and order a bespoke product from tens of thousands of possible configurations.

This is the first of its kind outside of London, managers say. “This is really exciting news for us and the local area,” said Craig Lyus, group digital trading manager for Sofa Brands International.
“These are some of the biggest and best names in upholstery at unbelievable prices. It’s the first time we’ve offered G Plan models via an outlet and you can get a premium sofa worth £3000 for less than £999.
“We’re all having to save money where we can at the moment and this is a great way of doing so without scrimping on quality. Most of these sofas were made-to-order but a customer has changed their mind, so we take them straight from the factory to the outlet.
“The Lounge Co. pop up store is also a must-visit if you’re looking for contemporary or mid-century sofas and chairs. Our two other stores are in Chiswick and Islington so we wanted to find a spot central to the UK to allow our online customers to come and try before they buy.”
