A new social and entertainment space made from shipping containers is coming to Glasgow.
Clydeside Containers will be built along the River Clyde and will feature a mix of food vendors, bars, live music, comedy performances, and community events.
The venue will be made from repurposed shipping containers, and plans are set to be submitted to the council in the coming months, with a target opening date of spring 2025.
Clydeside Containers will also engage with local businesses and artists, offering opportunities to showcase their talents and products.
The venue will prioritise locally sourced ingredients and collaborate with Glasgow-based suppliers.
It is also expected to attract visitors from Glasgow and beyond, supporting nearby businesses and contributing to the city’s tourism economy.
The venue also aims to minimise its environmental impact by repurposing shipping containers and implementing green building practices.
