New Manchester United signing Amad Diallo has pulled on the famous red jersey for the first time.
United officially announced the arrival of teenage winger Diallo on Thursday, with the Ivorian signing a four-and-a-half-year deal running until the summer of 2025, with the option for a further year.
The deal to sign the 18-year-old for an initial £19million, potentially rising by around £18million in add-ons, from Serie A side Atalanta was struck on deadline day of the summer transfer window, with it agreed that he would make the move to Old Trafford in January.
With a work permit secured, the club have now unveiled Diallo as their own player and he wasted no time in pulling on a United shirt for the first time.
Diallo posted a photo on to his Instagram story picturing himself wearing the club colours with this season's shirt.
However, it might be a while before he sports the kit on the pitch for the first-team. While manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is excited by Diallo's prospects, he has already admitted that the starlet will need time to adapt in the country.

It would make sense if he follows a similar path of development to Facundo Pellistri, a fellow young winger who arrived at United in the summer and has been acclimatising to life in England by playing — and impressing — in Neil Wood's Under-23 side.
On signing for United, Diallo said: “After waiting since the summer, it is finally a dream come true to complete my move to Manchester United. I am hugely ambitious and there is so much that I want to achieve in the game; when I spoke to the manager I knew that I had joined the perfect club.
“This is a really exciting squad with so many great players, I can promise that I will work hard every day to learn from them and give everything to develop my game. The coaches have been fantastic since I signed, we have been in touch regularly and they have already given me a lot of great advice.
“I have had time to prepare for this move, both physically and mentally, and I have worked really hard to be ready to make the step up to this amazing club.”
