New show home located in East Ayrshire development 'steeped in history' opens to the public

A new five-bed show home located within a ‘development steeped in history’ in East Ayrshire is open to the public.

Milestone Developments have launched their eagerly awaited detached Eglinton show home at Ballochmyle Estate in Mauchline- which they say is a simply “breath-taking place to call home.”

Situated next to Ballochmyle Golf Club and bordered by the River Ayr, the development boasts large spacious plots on a beautiful country estate.

Made up of three bed bungalows alongside five and six bedroom detached villas, Ballochmyle Estate is not only set within a rural and tranquil setting but Ballochmyle itself has historical roots, being immortalised in the Robert Burns poem ‘The Bonnie Lass O’Ballochmyle’.

Milestone Developments’ new show home, the Eglinton, features a spacious lounge on the ground floor with a feature fireplace, dual aspect windows and sliding doors to the rear garden.

An impressive open plan kitchen/ dining/ family area, with utility just off, oozes opulence with integrated appliances, centre island breakfast bar, glass ceiling lanterns and rich Chevron parquet flooring.

A study/ bedroom number five and downstairs loo to the front of the home complete the ground floor.

Upstairs, there are four double bedrooms- two of which have en-suite bathrooms- with the principal bedroom a soothing sanctuary thanks to its cool grey tones, luxurious oversized headboard and black furniture with gold accents.

A spacious landing and family bathroom with freestanding bath and shower cabinet make up the upstairs accommodation.

Prices for this style are £539,995 with the option to include a detached double garage.

The Eglinton show home has been meticulously designed by Eileen Kesson of Envision Design, Stirling, who brings a wealth of knowledge with over 20 years’ experience, having worked for many large name housebuilders during this time.

Milestone Developments say that when complete Ballochmyle Estate will consist of 110 detached homes- of which the first 10 homes are occupied- and Ballochmyle House.

All new homes feature a designer kitchen from Ashley Ann, integrated AEG appliances and half-height Porcelanosa tiling.

The sales office and show home is open Thursday to Monday from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
