New rooftop terrace officially opened at popular Arnold pub

A popular Nottinghamshire pub has officially opened its new rooftop terrace to customers. The Robin Hood and Little John pub in Church Street, Arnold, announced plans for the new space in March.

Now, it has released images of the new look on its Facebook page and celebrated with a 'parting of the barrels' ceremony. The terrace is traditional in design with a 1.8m high stained timber fence to three sides and the courtyard elevation has a decorative 1.1m high black balustrading.

The terrace is illuminated with festoon lighting on metal poles with a new metal staircase formed to access the terraced area from the courtyard area.

Officials from the pub thanked Everards1849 and Lincoln Green Brewing Company in an online statement for their continued support and investment.

They say that they've already made a few more plans to add to the stunning area and hope that all their patrons enjoy it. The pub has made a number of changes over the past few months including a new snug and new male toilet facilities.
