A new bar and retro arcade gaming concept is to take over the top floor at one of Nottingham's leisure hotspots - boasting some of the best views of the city centre. No other details have been announced, other than the fact that it will open at The Cornerhouse, which is home to Cineworld, Axed, and a whole host of restaurants.
The news was revealed on Instagram by commercial property agents BOX Property, which said it had secured the letting for the two units within the centre. The Cornerhouse is also home to cocktail bar the Mixologist and SkyBar within the centre and Revolution and the Slug & Lettuce in Forman Street.
The top floor used to be home to gin bar GinSecco, which closed down after struggling to attract footfall following the pandemic. It was also the location of Icon Hair and Beauty, which closed in 2021.
Genting Casino - one of the flagship tenants at the complex - closed down earlier this year due to "commercial considerations". Members of the casino were sent a text message in February informing them the venue was permanently closed.
