Two Lanarkshire members of an organisation for women which promotes friendship have taken up executive positions within it.
Marjorie McGeary from Law and Nancy Ralston from Carluke were appointed to the Inner Wheel District 2 Executive Committee.
Both women are members of the Motherwell & Wishaw Inner Wheel Club.
Marjorie will be the new incoming Vice District Chairwoman while Nancy accepted the role of the new District Editor.
The appointments were confirmed at the recent Inner Wheel AGM which took place at Peebles Hydro.
Motherwell & Wishaw Inner Wheel Club President, Margaret Keeper, said: “The club are delighted to have two of our members on the Executive Committee. It’s a great honour for our club.
Both ladies will take up their new positions in September at the start of the new Inner Wheel session.
Meetings of Motherwell & Wishaw Inner Wheel will begin again then on the second Tuesday of each month.
