The NFL doesn’t like any big news to upstage Super Bowl week. Now that Super Bowl LVII is in the books, NFL business picks back up.
One of the biggest pieces of NFL businesses is the potential sale of the Washington Commanders. Will owner Dan Snyder sell the team if he doesn’t get a bid he likes? Will Amazon founder Jeff Bezos appear in the bidding? How much will Washington sell for? Is Josh Harris the current frontrunner?
There are so many questions regarding the Commanders. Almost everyone believes Snyder will sell the team. Reports suggest he’s holding out for $7 billion, but the early bids didn’t come close to that number.
Most everyone agrees that this sale could be done by the NFL owner’s meetings next month.
With many of the most important people around the NFL present at the Super Bowl, there was gossip surrounding Washington’s ownership situation.
And, according to Charles Gasparino of the FOX Business Network, some owners think if Bezos wants the Commanders, he will own the team. Why? Simple math.

Harris was the name most connected with the Commanders early in the process. However, that’s because Bezos hasn’t gotten involved, which is by design. Due to his vast wealth, Bezos can come in at the last minute and make an offer no one else can match.
But what about Snyder allegedly refusing to sell to Bezos because he owns The Washington Post?

If Bezos tops the bidding, he will own the team.
