New Rangers home kit leaked online with James Tavernier pictured in shirt with gold trim

Rangers' new home kit has apparently been leaked online, with James Tavernier pictured in the Castore jersey.

The Ibrox club agreed a lucrative five-year deal with the Liverpool-based sports brand in May 2020 and romped to last season's Premiership title whilst turning out in their first-ever Castore strip.

Castore are best known for their partnership with Andy Murray but it looks as though they could become synonymous with producing brilliant kits for some of the UK's biggest sides.

And the usually reliable Footy Headlines have published pictures showing Gers captain Tavernier resplendent in the fresh design which marks the club's 150th anniversary, with Steven Gerrard's players set to defend their new title in their classic royal blue, complete with a bright gold trim and crest.

No official announcement has been made on the new kit as of yet but, understandably, supporters are desperate to see what they'll be wearing for the return of domestic football.

As well as Rangers, Castore have recently signed their first lucrative deal with a Premier League club after replacing Adidas for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
