The Foreign Office has issued a fresh warning to travellers planning to visit Portugal from the UK.
The government department has updated its guidance for anyone travelling to the European nation amid further adverse weather conditions. It comes after Portuguese authorities issued yellow and orange rain alerts for all of Portugal earlier this month.
New advice urges anyone planning to travel to Portugal to follow guidance given by the Portuguese Civil Protection Authority.

Latest updates state weather conditions are expected to "deteriorate over the next 48 hours, with persistent precipitation and wind and sea agitation".
Weather warnings are in place from Monday morning (December 19), with the "most critical period" falling between 9pm on Monday and 6am on Tuesday (December 20), "especially in the districts of Viana do Casteloa, Braga and Porto", and between midnight and 6am in the districts of Vila Real, Viseu, Aveiro and Coimbra.
Residents and tourists alike are being warned of floods in urban areas, as well as the overflowing of watercourses, rivers and streams, and potential accidents caused by loose objects dragged onto roadways, and slippery road surfaces.
Gov.uk advice says: "Winter months in Portugal can be wet with heavy downpours. Some areas, including parts of Lisbon, are particularly susceptible to flooding. This can lead to disruptions to trains, metro lines and road closures."
Anyone travelling to the Azores is warned of earthquakes due to "ongoing seismic activity". This follows an increase in seismic activity on the island of São Jorge since March of this year.
