New 'Parisian' Glasgow west end bakery by Six by Nico team set to open next week

A brand new bakery is set to hit the west end next week, promising to bring 'Parisian escape' to the city.

Valaria Bakery will open at 333 Byres Road on Thursday, February 16, with owners having created social media accounts back in November and finally teasing their opening last week.

The bakery will serve fresh pastries, cakes, eclairs, and - keeping with the French theme - macarons. Owners have shared behind the scenes snippets of the decorating process of their new premises, which features hanging floral arrangements, archways and a gorgeous pastel colour scheme.

Exclusive offers will be up for grabs in store and on the bakery's Instagram from February 16 - 19, to give customers a taste of what's to come for the new west end offering.

In a social media post, business owners said: "Inspired by the popularity of Six by Nico desserts, Valaria is a new cafe concept designed to bring 'Joie de Vivre' to the world of baked goods.

"Combining artisan techniques with innovation in flavour, our menu is both indulging and exciting, inviting you to enjoy little moments of luxury everyday.

"Located at 333 Byres Road, we'll be there for your made-that-morning indulgence with our selection of freshly baked pastries and our B-corp unique Valaria coffee blend (that's right, B-corp, more on that later...)

"Your daily stop or weekend treat will never be the same..."
