On Saturday night, New Orleans Police Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick was involved in a collision with two pedestrians, resulting in injuries to one of them. The incident occurred at the intersection of Decatur and Iberville streets around 7 p.m., as reported by the police department.

Both a man and a woman were struck in the incident. The woman was taken to a hospital in stable condition, while the man did not sustain any injuries.

Following the collision, Kirkpatrick underwent breathalyzer and urinalysis tests. The breathalyzer test indicated no alcohol consumption, registering a result of 0.00. The results of the urinalysis are pending and expected to be available in the coming days.

Social media images depicting the scene revealed that Kirkpatrick was not in uniform at the time of the accident. The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently being investigated by the authorities.
