A girl who was raped, murdered and dismembered by her mother's boyfriend on her 10th birthday had an STD at the time of her death, an autopsy has revealed.
Victoria Martens was killed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a day after her 10th birthday.
Her mother, Michelle Martens, 35, has admitted that she enjoyed watching her daughter be raped and claims she watched her boyfriend Fabian Gonzales, 32 and his cousin, Jessica Kelly, 32, kill Victoria.Michelle Martens had sex with Gonzales 20 minutes after the murder.
The Albuquerque Journal said an autopsy report showed Victoria had human papillomavirus (HPV) at the time of her death, suggesting she had suffered sexual abuse before her murder.
Michelle Martens has reportedly said she offered her daughter online to paedophiles who wanted to rape her.
Martens said she had watched Gonzales and Kelly rape her daughter at least three other times before she was killed.
The autopsy found that Victoria did not have methamphetamine in her system, contradicting reports from Martens that she was given the drug to relax her. The girl did have alcohol in her system though.
Police found Victoria's body chopped up and wrapped in a burning blanket.
Martens faces charges of kidnapping and child abuse resulting in death; Gonzales faces those same charges as well as child rape.
Kelley has been charged with kidnapping, child abuse resulting in death and child rape.
