New Malta holidays deal means you can bag £25pp discounts for breaks in 2022

Malta has become a firm favourite with Brits after sun-soaked holidays with incredible food, sightseeing and heaps of fascinating history.

The island hotspot is already open to fully vaccinated Brits, and recently announced plans to welcome back unvaccinated UK travellers without quarantine, with new rules kicking off this week.

If you've been tempted to book a break and check it out for yourself, you're in luck, as Mirror Holidays currently has a deal on Malta holidays with £25pp discounts up for grabs.

There are already seven-night breaks from £195pp, so it could be the perfect excuse to book in a budget-friendly getaway!

There's a generous window of travel dates to choose from too, as the discounts are valid for holidays departing before June 30, 2022.

To book the discounts, simply check out the full list of Malta holidays, choose the best trip for you and enter the discount code MALTASPRING at checkout.

It's worth noting that terms and conditions do apply. For example, the discount can only be applied for adults, and on holidays with a minimum stay of seven nights. You can find out more on mirrorholidays.co.uk.

Malta is currently open to all UK tourists, although entry rules differ depending on your vaccination status.

If you're fully vaccinated against Covid you can enter without needing a Covid test. If you're partially vaccinated or unvaccinated, you'll need to show proof of either recovery from Covid within 180 days before arrival, or proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to entry in Malta.

All travellers heading to the hotspot must also complete a passenger locator form before travelling, which will include a QR code to be shown at border control.

It's not just international travel rules that are being eased; vaccine passes will also be axed for standing outdoor events, and seated indoor events.

Mr Johann Buttigieg, Chief Executive Officer of the Malta Tourism Authority, said that the easing of travel news was "great news for the tourism industry" and that "we look forward to welcoming everyone back to explore the Maltese Islands."
