Malta has become a firm favourite with Brits after sun-soaked holidays with incredible food, sightseeing and heaps of fascinating history.
The island hotspot is already open to fully vaccinated Brits, and recently announced plans to welcome back unvaccinated UK travellers without quarantine, with new rules kicking off this week.

Malta is currently open to all UK tourists, although entry rules differ depending on your vaccination status.
If you're fully vaccinated against Covid you can enter without needing a Covid test. If you're partially vaccinated or unvaccinated, you'll need to show proof of either recovery from Covid within 180 days before arrival, or proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to entry in Malta.
All travellers heading to the hotspot must also complete a passenger locator form before travelling, which will include a QR code to be shown at border control.
It's not just international travel rules that are being eased; vaccine passes will also be axed for standing outdoor events, and seated indoor events.
Mr Johann Buttigieg, Chief Executive Officer of the Malta Tourism Authority, said that the easing of travel news was "great news for the tourism industry" and that "we look forward to welcoming everyone back to explore the Maltese Islands."
