Marks & Spencer has just launched a 'commemorative coronation collection' of tins - and shoppers are excited to snap them up. The retailer has released limited-edition Fairtrade English breakfast tea tins and all-butter shortbread tins, which are both available in M&S Foodhalls now.
The special tins to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III come in two designs - white and gold, and purple and gold - which can be seen below. Shoppers shared their excitement about the collection in replies to post by M&S on Facebook promoting the tins earlier today (March 21).
Carl Paul commented: "I spotted these at the weekend ! Very excited!!" Angi Langford posted: "Why does that shortbread always taste better in these tins? Had the jubilee ones last year as well." Janie Burden added: "Need to get one of these!!"

Gemma Dixon wrote: "I love collecting the tins" and Leanne Smith said: "These are pretty". Mel Baldam added: "Aww I want both of them!" and Nana Jo suggested: "Instead of an Easter egg".
And it seems the purple design is going to be particularly popular with shoppers. Dimitri Druciak commented: "Love the purple & golden one". Sarah Fairweather wrote: "Please, please can i have the purple one?" and Hazel Dronsfield added: "Love the purple tin."
But not all customers will be rushing out to get their hands on a commemorative tin. Joyce Smith commneted: "Not for me thank you!" and Em Steevensen bluntly put: "I'll pass."
The tins will make a great addition to events being planned across Nottinghamshire to celebrate the coronation, with the historic ceremony to take place on Saturday, May 6. Brits will be treated to a long weekend for the occasion, with a bank holiday to be observed on Monday, May 8.
