Former Love Island favourite Maura Higgins has shared her excitement after her friend entered the Love Island villa as a bombshell four years on from her own stint on the ITV show.
Leah Taylor, 27, from Manchester, who is a Business Owner (Social Media Marketing), was revealed for the villa alongside Charlotte Sumner, 30, from Bournemouth, who is a Dental Nurse on Sunday night.
The new islander didn't take long to share her connection with Maura as she described her as one of her best friends.

"My favourite thing I’ve ever watched is Maura’s [Higgins] best bits, she’s one of my best friends so we watched it together one night and couldn’t stop laughing, she’s hilarious," Leah said when asked about her favourite moment of the show.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday night after Leah was announced, Maura shared a video of Leah about to walk into the villa as she said: "Nahhhh! Oh my days!", she penned: "SCREEEEMMMIINNNGGG!!!!! FINALLY @leahjtaylorr."
Maura then shared their emotional "last goodbye" in a black-and-white video where they are seen hugging before Leah jets off to the Love Island villa.
"The last goodbye [heart emoji] go smash it my girl @leahjtaylorr," she wrote.
The pair have been friends for some time and have shared pictures with one another on social media. Fans will now be watching Maura's Instagram to gauge her reaction to her friend on the show.
Leah shares another connection to the show having previously dated former Love Island hunk Danny Williams who appeared the same year as Maura.
Talking about her perfect guy ahead of the villa, Leah revealed: "Morals, we have to have the same morals.
"They have to be family oriented because I am and I want my family to be a part of our relationship. The last one is that they have to share the same goals."
"I've figured out what it is that I look for in a person, which means my bar is set really high," Leah added.
"I would say I honestly have so much love to give and being in love is the best thing you can ever experience. I’m ready for everything that comes with it and the hardships you have to go through in order to make that commitment and find the one."
While Charlotte said of her ideal partner: "I need to be sexually attracted to them but they also need to be kind-hearted and laid-back."
The dental nurse added of why she's a catch: "I’m fun, spontaneous, kind, caring and loyal."
However, Charlotte warned: "I’m hard work but I’m worth it!"
