They first took over Bristol, and then the rest of the country, but now the town of Thornbury is to get a Lounge café/bar, with the first in the town opening next week.
It's called Tesoro Lounge, and is opening in a prime location in the High Street that was a former Italian restaurant
Loungers plc, the Bristol-based cafe/bar group that began with just one Lounge on North Street in Ashton more than 20 years ago, is opening Tesoro Lounge in the large building that used to house Wildings clothes store and then a Prezzo until last year.

The Tesoro Lounge opens next Thursday, June 1, and the firm says it has brought the Lounge's distinct style to the refit of the empty former shop.
"Loungers has transformed 14 The High Street into a retro-inspired retreat: Heavily patterned wallpapers, tiling and stripped wooden floors will feature alongside oversized vintage sofas, upholstered lounge chairs, eclectic artwork and statement wall and pendant lighting, creating a variety of cosy and elegant drinking and dining areas to choose from," a spokesperson said.
"A real home from home, Tesoro Lounge will cater for all tastes throughout the day with a varied and innovative all-day menu. Whether it’s a coffee with friends, a long lazy brunch with family or a relaxed dinner and drinks, Tesoro Lounge is the perfect place to relax and unwind in good company," they added.
The Tesoro Lounge, like all the Lounges opening up around the country, will have an all-day menu and feature everything from tapas and salads to burgers and buttermilk fried chicken, with vegans and gluten-free diets catered for with their own menus.
It will be family friendly too. "Particular attention will be paid to families with a selection of games, books, colouring pencils and pads on offer. A full menu, high chairs and baby-changing facilities are also available for Little Loungers," the spokesperson added.
Gemma Irwin, Loungers' community manager, said they were looking forward to welcoming the people of Thornbury to try out the new establishment.
"We are delighted to be bringing Loungers to Thornbury," she said. "Our Lounges strive to put community at the heart of hospitality and our teams always go the extra mile to make a difference. They are actively encouraged to connect with their communities by working with local groups, charities, organisations and businesses that are at the heart of the fabric of local life. We are very much looking forward to welcoming local residents to Tesoro Lounge.”
Tesoro Lounge has partnered with local charity Jigsaw Thornbury and will donate 50p from every burger and 20p from each coffee sold in the first month of trading.
