Transport bosses will unveil final plans for Troon's new railway station at a public drop-in next week.
Residents will be able to catch a glimpse of the modernised hub which is set to be rebuilt after the historic station building was devastated by a fire in July 2021.
Network Rail will reveal designs at the Walker Hall on Tuesday, January 31 between 4pm and 7pm.
The designs were developed following feedback from the community in August 2022.
Ayrshire Live previously told how residents voted on their preferred option after being presented with three concepts.
Option two was backed as the clear favourite, with locals keen to keep the features of the previous Victorian Era station.
Now the designs will be given a final look over ahead of them being submitted for planning consideration.
Jo Noble, Network Rail sponsor for the redevelopment of the station, said: “We are extremely excited to be offering the residents of Troon a first look at the design for the redeveloped station building prior to submission for planning.
“The community has played an important part in the design of this building and we hope they are pleased with what we are presenting.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Walker Hall on Tuesday, January 31.”
