High street store New Look have some great summer items in stock, including the £33 denim skirt that shoppers have gone mad for. Many find the skirt "so flattering" and it has left them "oozing with confidence".
After being sold out for weeks the denim maxi skirt has come back into stock, much to shoppers delight. The best-seller is the Blue Denim Split Hem Maxi Skirt and it’s loved by actress Emily Atack, who has been spotted wearing the piece after adding it to her curated edit with the fashion retailer.
The skirt is nearly floor length and comes in a light-wash denim fabric, making it a great alternative to jeans. Paired with cami tops and sandals, it will see you through all your spring and summer plans.

The skirt costs £32.99 and is available in sizes 6-22, but if it’s anything like the last time it was in stock, it won’t stay that way for long. Already, the trendy skirt has racked up 33 five-star reviews, with the lowest rating coming in the form of a two-star review, which said the fabric was "lovely quality" but the skirt was "too long".
Others have absolutely loved the skirt, though, saying it’s ‘so flattering’ and the ‘perfect length’. One said: “I bought this to wear for afternoon drinks and lunch. Paired it up with a black high-neck bodysuit, knee-high heeled cowboy boots and black leather biker jacket and it looked insane! So comfortable, excellent quality of the denim and was so flattering. Honestly, one of my favourite items to wear. Oozing confidence.”
Another added: “Been looking at these for a while and finally got hold of one!.. Perfect length, fits snug on the waist and is not too tight around the thigh area.” With a third commenting: “Fabulous fit and well made I’ve had lots of compliments since wearing it. It's very versatile and I can dress up or down.”
Maxi skirts are very popular right now and other retailers are offering similar styles. Stradivarius has its own version for under £30, with Mango also stocking similar for £35.99. Alternatively, ASOS has dozens of styles from various retailers ranging from £20 to £120.
