New Look shoppers are praising a £15 pair of trainers that look very similar to Kate Middleton's favourite £70 Superga pair.
The Princess of Wales is known for her classy evening wear and chic dresses, but she also looks equally as fashionable when dressed down in her casual wear. There's one particular pair of trainers that she often chooses to wear, which cost £70 on the John Lewis website.
Superga 2750 Classic Canvas Trainers were first invented as a tennis shoe back in the early 1900s. Describing the shoe, Superga said: "Our Classic Superga 2750 Cotu shoe is Fashion’s trainer of choice. With an extra-strong, fully breathable, pure cotton upper, our timeless shape trainer is a lightweight, simple canvas tennis shoe with our vulcanised rubber sole. In production since 1911, this is the staple shoe with full versatility, and is the very definition of smart casual."

Thankfully, New Look is selling a dupe that looks virtually identical to the casual white plimsolls that are down to £15 from £20. The trainers feature a canvas finish and a rounded toe with lace-up fastening and a chunky sole just like the £70 Superga pair.
They have received plenty of praise from shoppers online, comparing it to the pair of Kate Middleton's favourite trainers. Many have praised the New Look trainers for being 'versatile' and 'comfier' than the Superga version.
One review read: "I have wanted a pair of these for ages and originally bought a more expensive brand version of these from another site. They were so uncomfortable I couldn’t wear them. Then I found these little gems, half the price and so much better! Comfy, not too wide and look better than the original ones I had purchased. Well done New Look!"
A second shopper said: "Bought these for work, I’m a receptionist in out of hours doctors but walk to work. Slip on office loafers wear out easily so I bought these to wear with my office trousers. They are perfect as they’re all black, very comfortable and didn’t even leave any blisters after wearing them for the first time! Much comfier & seem quite sturdy."
A third shopper said: "Amazing shoes. Would buy again."
The trainers also come in black, but are currently sold out on the New Look website. Shoppers can purchase the £15 New Look trainers here.
