New Look's £42 sausage dog pyjamas every Dachshund owner has to have

Those who know me best will know I'm a massive sausage dog fan, after all my miniature Dachshund, Evie is practically my little shadow.

At home it's pretty obvious I'm not only a Dachshund owner but a major fan too, from the hanging pictures and ornaments to the jewellery and clothing, so of course I couldn't help myself when I saw that New Look had launched a new range of pyjamas featuring, you guessed it, sausage dogs.

Comfortable clothing and cute pyjamas are never out of fashion and since the pandemic, the demand for loungewear and sleepwear has only grown larger and larger, according to New Look. They say the search demand for “sausage dog pyjamas” has increased by 350% - and New Look are here to meet that demand with their new collection of quirky Dachshund pyjamas.

First up, I tried the Yumi Dog lover, navy satin pyjamas which look and feel amazing. I was a little worried at first that the satin material would be too restrictive, but there is plenty of room thanks to the elastic trouser waist which comes with a lovely, contrasting pink bow.

I love the feel of the soft satin fabric, Evie not so much as she slides down me when she's trying to cuddle. I don't get too hot in the set either and I really love the print. What's not to like about little sausage dogs with a red beret and stripy coat?

The set also includes a handy, matching travel bag too. It's priced at £42 on the New Look website and would make a great gift or treat for any sausage dog lover.

Next up has to be my favourite. The Green Sausage Dog Fleece Oversized Hooded Blanket is priced at £29.99 on New Look and is just adorable.

I absolutely love the mint colour of this and although it's a bit too warm to wear now, it's definitely going to be my go-to to throw on during those cold winter mornings. Featuring a fleeced hood and front pocket, the hooded blanket has Evie's approval too, she likes to snuggle in for a cuddle when I wear this because of how soft the material is.

There's also a cute White T-Shirt and Short Pyjama Set with Sausage Dog Print for £5 instead of £16.99.
