Alisson will wear the number 1 shirt for Liverpool from next season, the club confirmed today alongside the unveiling of the club's new home kit and goalkeeper kit.
The Brazilian, who currently wears the number 13 shirt, inherits the number one shirt from Lorius Karius, who is in his first season of a two-year loan spell at Besiktas.
The announcement comes as part of Liverpool launching their New Balance home kit for the 2019/20 season, which pays homage to legendary manager Bob Paisley - in the year of the 100th anniversary of his birth - in its design.
The shirt, which is inspired from the 1982-83 kit when Liverpool won their 14th league title in Paisley's final season, is the usual deep red but with white, vertical pinstripes.
Each jersey is inscribed with Paisley's signature on the inside of the neck and the New Balance logo & club badge are yellow, as opposed to this season's white.
Club captain Jordan Henderson said of the new kit: "It's incredibly strong. I'm really looking forward to wearing it every time we play at our beloved home of Anfield, as a symbol of the pride and passion you have when you're a Red.
"It's also a really fitting tribute to one of our greatest managers, Bob Paisley, and is a fantastic way to remember all his success."
The goalkeeper kit next season is black, with gold detail on the sponsors, badges and sleeves.
Alisson said: "I'm incredibly impressed by the style of this season's goalkeeper jersey. It will really stand out on the pitch and will look great alongside the home kit."
It seems the whole first-team squad were involved in modelling the new shirt, including Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who played for the U23s on Sunday.
The kit announcement comes the morning after Liverpool secured a Champions League semi-final against Barcelona, by beating Porto 6-1 on aggregate in the quarters.
