Construction is well underway for a replacement KFC on the shores of Lake Tuggeranong after the previous store was levelled following a fire almost a year ago.
KFC Tuggeranong, on the corner of Cowlishaw and Reed streets in Greenway, was severely damaged by the fire, which ripped through the store on the morning of October 25 last year.
Staff and customers at the time were evacuated, with ACT Fire and Rescue teams battling the fire.
The construction schedule is remaining as secret as KFC's secret 11 herbs and spices.
But it's believed the store will open in the coming months.
