New image of alleged Mooseheads attacker released

ACT Policing has released a new image of an alleged nightclub attacker as they continue to search for the man.

The bearded man is believed to have threatened and attacked a person on the dancefloor at Mooseheads nightclub late on Saturday, July 20.

Police are urging anyone who can identify the man to contact Crime Stoppers.

ACT Policing said the alleged attacker is believed to have assaulted another man inside the Civic venue.

Police were called to the location, about 11.05pm that day, before nightclub staff kicked the man out of the popular venue along London Circuit.

The alleged offender left the area before officers arrived, police said.

"Police would like to speak to anyone who can identify the man from the images, or anyone who may have witnessed the incident who has not yet spoken to police," a police spokesperson said.

They described the man as Caucasian in appearance, with brown hair and a beard. Police said he was wearing a light grey jumper, jeans, and white shoes at the time of the alleged assault.
