A new holiday park is proposed within an hour's drive from Edinburgh and can see the transformation of redundant farm land and building into holiday lodges.
The proposed holiday park will be located on the site immediately due west of the main western pedestrian access to Lochore Meadows near Kelty, Fife.

Submitted on behalf of W J Thomson, the plan outlines the construction of up to 80 holiday lodges and the conversion of a redundant agricultural building to form a reception area, cafe and three small-scale retail units for local produce.
While benefiting from easy access to the capital, the site of the proposed new holiday park boasts picturesque surroundings, including woodland and a lake.
The plan is set up with the local communities in mind and - while mindful of the potential increase in traffic in the area - outlines the benefits of a new tourist flow to the region. The proposal said: "Tourism plays an important role across Fife and, often more so, in rural areas.
"Fife's culture and heritage and key destinations visitor destinations with their assets of golf, coast and countryside, food and drink combine to be a package which and bring more visitors who, in turn, can boost the economy in these areas.
"The Plan's policies are intended to help diversify the economy and allow investment in the infrastructure tourism needs. The proposed development represents a major local investment in a tourist facility that will help promote the Fife Council tourism economy and meet the demand for holiday accommodation."
