Greggs has opened a new shop at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, creating 15 new jobs.
The new store opened today (April 8) as the airport prepares for a busy Easter period. It will be open from 6am to 10pm daily and will have a new look and a seating area.
Greggs' well-known range of baked goods, including the Sausage Roll, Steak Bake and vegan alternatives, will be available alongside sandwiches, savouries and sweet treats. The new store will also offer Greggs’ deals throughout the day, including its breakfast combinations served until 11am.

Customers will be able to make click-and-collect orders via the Greggs app. The location also includes a Nuttall Unit so customers can purchase some of Greggs' hot items such as southern fried chicken goujons and potato wedges.
Shop manager Rachel Curlett said: “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new shop. We’ve got an amazing range of tasty bakes, hot drinks, sweet treats and savouries available for takeaway or click and collect.”
Gillian Long, Retail Operations Director for Greggs, added: “Our new Liverpool John Lennon Airport shop has brought 15 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their favourite Greggs food before taking to the skies.”

Liverpool John Lennon Airport recently told passengers to allow plenty of time due to anticipated high demand over the Easter Holidays. Around 170,000 passengers are expected to pass through over the entire break, which is the first school holiday since the lifting of the last of the Government's covid restrictions.
