A new pub, which is set open, is hoping to bring more colour to the city and offer Glasgow artists the chance to showcase their work.
Bar Basquiat is inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat, a world-renowned New York artist who died at the age 27.
The venue will be opening up where The Avalon bar used to be on Kent Road, in the Charing Cross area. Those hard at work bringing the eye-catching decor to life are hoping to welcome customers through the door tomorrow, Friday 19.

The new hotspot will offer some New York Deli food along with their own beer. Local brewers and distillers will also showcase their goods at Bar Basquiat.
The owner of the new establishment told Glasgow Live: "There's a real 1980s feel about the bar.
"There is a lot of his artwork on the walls and a space for local artists to exhibit their work if they wish.
"We are all massive Basquiat fans, we adore his work and attitude to life but he tragically died far too young.
"He went from living in a cardboard box in Brooklyn to a multi-millionaire by the time he died. He is the most successful black artist ever and he led quite an inspiring life.
"We are trying to get as many local suppliers and artists involved as possible. If artists want to sell any of their stuff here we won't take commission from that.
"It's been in the back of our minds to do something like this for a long time so we are really excited."
