A new steak restaurant is set to open in Glasgow city centre after the firm behind the project secured a licence to sell alcohol.
Flat Iron, planned for 80 St Vincent Street, is being developed by the man behind Mitchell Lane bar Tabac and Italian restaurant La Fiorentina.
It will take over a building previously used by Slanj Kilts.

A provisional premises licence was secured by 80VIN Ltd, owned by Marco Lazzurri, at a meeting of the city’s Licensing Board on Friday, December 9.
Stephen McGowan, representing the firm, told the city’s Licensing Board: “All being well, with a fair wind, Marco will be looking to open the premises in August of next year.”
He said £250,000 would be invested in the property and 19 jobs could be created.
