Just last month, it was announced that Miyagi in Ormskirk would close its doors after two years.
Now after a quick turnaround, it has reopened as a gastro pub called Stag and Antelope.
The new gastropub is being run by owner Ryan McMahon, of the Gracious Group which also operates city centre venues such as Berry and Rye , Aloha and Jenny’s Bar.

Ryan said: "We wanted to create something a bit more accessible and we’ve had great feedback so far.
"We’ve got a range of cask and draft beers and a menu featuring home comfort foods.
"On Sunday, we are also launching our roast dinners with lamb, gammon, beef and a vegetarian options.
"We are also going to be doing deals on pizza and burgers mid week too."
The Stag and Antelope menu consists mainly of homely pub food including burgers, salads, sandwiches, pizza and pies.
It also serves ‘big plates’ such as fish and chips, bangers and mash, rib eye steak and gammon and egg.

Rob Kershaw commented on Facebook : "Fantastic menu, food really was superb and the staff made it a really nice night. Look forward to getting down again especially for a Sunday roast when they start!"
