Fresh footage appearing to show Cristiano Ronaldo's now-infamous substitution row with Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has emerged on social media.
Ronaldo, 37, refused to come off the bench in United's 2-0 win against Tottenham earlier this month. The Portugal skipper stormed down the tunnel at Old Trafford in the 89th minute and left the ground before the full-time whistle, leading to widespread criticism.
Ronaldo was subsequently dropped by Ten Hag and missed their 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. He returned to first-team training on Tuesday and is set to be part of their squad for their Europa League game against Sheriff on Thursday.
Ten Hag will be hoping to draw a line under the matter and focus on United's Premier League and European campaigns, yet a new video clip has put the incident back into the news. The footage appears to show Ten Hag talking to Ronaldo during the Spurs game.
The veteran forward is seen shaking his finger at his manager before making his way to the touchline. Ronaldo is then filmed looking rather glum as he watches Jadon Sancho make his way to the bench, with that change happening two minutes before the outburst.
Ronaldo later congratulates Casemiro on a good performance before going to warm up down the touchline and walking down the tunnel. It was at that moment when the five-time Ballon d'Or winner hit the headlines for the wrong reasons.

Ten Hag promised to "deal" with Ronaldo the next day but insists he has no issues with the player after dishing out his punishment. The incident was the second time Ronaldo has left Old Trafford during a game after doing so against Rayo Vallecano in August.
"The talk is between Cristiano and me," said Ten Hag in response to Ronaldo's punishment. "The statement is also clear. I am the manager, I'm responsible for the top sport culture here and I have to set standards and values, and I have to control them.
"We are in a team. After Rayo Vallecano I said it's unacceptable but he wasn't the only one. That is for everyone, when it's the second time it will have consequence. That is now what we did... I think it's important for the attitude, mentality for the group."
When asked if Ronaldo refused to come on against Tottenham, Ten Hag said: "Yes." The forward has since apologised. "As I've always done throughout my career, I try to live and play respectfully towards my colleagues, my adversaries and my coaches," he said.
"That hasn't changed. I haven't changed... I've always tried to set the example myself for the youngsters that grew in all the teams that I've represented. Unfortunately that's not always possible and sometimes the heat of the moment gets the best of us.
"Right now, I just feel I have to keep working hard in Carrington, support my team-mates and be ready for everything in any given game. Giving in to the pressure is not an option. It never was. This is Manchester United and united we must stand."
