New Food Warehouse at Riverside Retail Park starting to take shape - and jobs are up for grabs

Jobs are up for grabs at a new Food Warehouse opening in the former Toys R Us store at Riverside Retail Park in Nottingham. Team leader and retail assistant roles are being advertised by the company, which is an off-shoot of frozen food giant Iceland.

The discount store, one of the fastest growing British supermarkets, will include a Bargain Booze section in the unit, off Electric Avenue. An opening date has yet to be announced.

Customers are promised bigger pack options on well-known brands allowing them to stock up for less on their favourites. A big range of exclusive brand products across some of the best-known names in the UK, including Slimming World, Greggs, TGI's and Chiquito's, will be available.

Stores boast simple layouts with wider and fewer aisles so make shopping less stressful and also have deals on homeware and seasonal specials. The former toy store has been divided into smaller units. Home Bargains and JD Sports have already moved into two of the units with the Food Warehouse taking over the last one.

It will be the third Food Warehouse to open in Nottingham, with branches also located at Lady Bay Retail Park and St Peter's Retail Park in Mansfield. The company was named one of the Sunday Times' 25 best big companies to work for in 2020. Details of jobs available can be found at jobs.icelandcareers.co.uk
