A new flagship charity shop for a Bristol hospice will open on Whiteladies Road next month. St Peter's Hospice, which has been providing care for patients across the city since 1978, will open its 45th store in Clifton in March, offering preloved clothing, homeware, and accessories.
The new location is in a large unit at 112-114 Whiteladies Road, formerly occupied by Boots but which has been vacant since 2020. The creation of the new flagship store will see two nearby premises for St Peter's, one of which closed last month, be combined together.
The new store will feature a new ‘donation station’ to allow supporters to drop off their donations easily.

John Broomhead, St Peter’s Hospice Retail Director, said: “The demand for our clinical services across the communities in Bristol is growing rapidly and unfortunately at the same time as significant cost increases. This means we have to look at ways we can increase our fundraising, so we are really excited at this important time to open our new store
.
“We can’t wait to open our doors to new and current supporters and offer you a fantastic choice of great products at amazing prices. We are always looking for volunteers to support our team and for products to sell in our stores, so come in and meet the team. I think you will love our new store, and we look forward to welcoming you soon .”
The new store is opening in an area of Whiteladies Road that's popular with shoppers trawling for preloved items at the weekend with charity shops, including Sense, Sally Ann, The British Heart Foundation and Brandon, all close by.
