FIFA 23 will be released later this year and 25 new FUT Heroes and FUT Icons have reportedly been 'leaked' on social media.
FIFA 23 will be EA's last FIFA title following the end of a 30-year partnership between Electronic Arts and FIFA. EA have announced they are planning to release a brand new game called EA Sports FC, expected to be released in 2023. FIFA are also considering launching their own football simulation game and has already stated its intention to re-use the FIFA name.
EA introduced a brand-new player item into their popular game mode FIFA Ultimate Team in FIFA 22, FUT Heroes - a card-type that represents a player and their hero moment in a specific league. Ex-players such as David Ginola, Antonio Di Natale and Mario Gomez were all introduced in FIFA 22, and now the new Heroes in FIFA 23 have reportedly been leaked on social media.

FUT Icons are another set of special rare player cards in FIFA Ultimate Team based on legendary footballers from years gone by, with over 100 Icons in FUT 22 currently. Each Icon receives four different cards throughout FIFA based on different stages of their career - a base player item, mid, prime and prime moments.
So, which new FUT Icons and Heroes are expected to be coming to FIFA 23? Let's take a look.
FIFA 23 leaked FUT Icons and FUT Heroes
According to various social media accounts, including @FUTZONEFIFA, the following players could be set to feature in FIFA 23 as FUT Icons or FUT Heroes. These players have yet to be confirmed officially by EA Sports ahead of the official release.

FIFA 23 is expected to be released in the UK and worldwide on Friday, September 30, 2022. P layers who pre-order the game are likely to receive early access to FIFA 23, which could allow them to play the game as early as Monday, September 26, 2022.
