Imh continued: “I’ll be here to help sometimes and there’s three other staff. I think the colour of the shop will get people coming in.”

The shop will be open Monday to Saturday, from 9.30am-6.30pm. Passer-by in the city centre shared their views on the new shop. Julie Wake, 56 who lives in West Bridgford and is retired, said: “I’d rather see anything but takeaways and nail shops are popular amongst all people, they’re not just for the ladies! It’s a nice and bright place.”

Julie added: “I wish them luck.”
