New England Patriots NFL Draft order entering Week 17

New England Patriots fans have seen some glimmers of hope in recent weeks from rookie quarterback Drake Maye, but the reality for the rest of the year is that the Patriots are in line to receive a prized draft pick in 2025.

That’s not a bad silver lining for a rebuilding team, but where will the Patriots pick in 2025? Here’s the latest update ahead of Saturday’s game:

Patriots’ current draft order

Entering Week 2, the Patriots hold the No. 2 draft pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, trailing only the New York Giants by one game.

There is a logjam of teams at 3-12, with the Patriots ahead of four other 3-12 teams. That means there’s going to be a lot of movement over the last two weeks of the regular season.

Patriots’ remaining schedule

Saturday, December 28th: vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Flex Game (1/4 or 1/5): vs. Buffalo

Current bottom of NFL standings

Giants: 2-13
