The UK Government has confirmed that yet another emergency alert system test will go ahead today.
On Sunday this week, an emergency alert test sound was sent to mobile phone users across the country, reports the Liverpool Echo.
The loud alarm was part of a test in the system, and was set to go off on all devices that were using 4G and 5G network by 3pm.

However, Edinburgh Live reported at the time that many people reported to not receiving the alarm at all - or it was later than the 3pm alloted time.
Some people were even annoyingly woken up in the early hours of Monday morning by the loud alert, which rang for ten seconds and displayed a message notifying phone users that no action was needed in response to the test.
This system is designed to alert people if there is a danger to life nearby them, and will be used in the future for life-threatening situations including flooding and wildfires.
And now, the UK Government has announced that yet another emergency alert will sound today, April 25 - but not everyone will receive it.
A spokesperson said: "There will be a service test of the UK Emergency Alerts system today. Most mobile phones and tablets will not get a test alert."
It did not release any further information about who would receive the alert and who would not - or when it would happen. The message today would read: "This is a mobile network operator test of the UK Emergency Alerts service. You do not need to take any action. To find out more, visit gov.uk/alerts."
The alert did go off in the Loose Women studios this morning, as the panellists were discussing child-free areas.
They were then startled by a loud noise, which left Ruth, Brenda, Colleen and Janet in fits of laughter before they continued their programme.
