Leith is facing further traffic and pedestrian chaos as tram works are set to close footpaths and restrict traffic along a major Leith road.
The work is due to begin this week from April 25 and will see major new construction sites put up on Ocean Drive and Ocean Way.
They will be forced to largely close much of the traffic around the area, with the minimum width of the one way street in the construction area being just 3.5 metres.

There will be road closures on Tower Street and temporary lights put up on Constitution Way, Stevedore Place and Ocean Drive.
The work will also close certain footpaths in the area, with diverted routes being signposted where applicable.
Roadsides will be blocked off along both Ocean Drive and Ocean Way for the construction work of the new tram lines to continue.
Another large construction site will be placed outside Genting Casino Leith, with access to the car park opening from May 16.
The roadworks are being managed by Class One Traffic Management, a leading Traffic Management company in Scotland.
This comes as Edinburgh City Council continue their plans to extend the tram lines to Newhaven.
The Trams to Newhaven project is planned to add an additional 2.91 miles of tram tracks in both directions in order to connect Leith to the current end of the tram network at York Place.
When finished, it will add eight new stops and the council plans for it to improve public transport links and cycle paths between Leith and the City Centre.
On Their website, Trams to Newhaven said:
“This will offer residents access to high capacity light rail which will sit alongside the existing bus service as well as improved cycling and walking infrastructure along the route.”
