A major airline has launched a new route from East Midlands Airport (EMA) for the summer holidays. Jet2 has waved off its first flight to Izmir, Turkey from the Castle Donnington-based airport on Tuesday, May 3.
The service will run weekly to the Turkish city up until November 1 and becomes the fourth destination in the country to be served by EMA and Jet2. Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman are already available.
