A brand new housing development is set to be built in a Lanarkshire town in the coming months.
Sixty one homes will make up the new community, named Highstonehall Park, situated in the south of Hamilton.
Housebuilders Miller Homes announced their latest estate this week which will consist of three, four and five-bedroom energy-efficient houses from its most recent portfolio.
It comes after the success of the firm's Highstonehall development nearby in the South Lanarkshire town.
The new development marks Miller Homes’ 10th in the Lanarkshire area in the past five years, reinforcing the high demand for new build homes in the region.
The new community will neighbour the builder’s current Highstonehall development.
Homes will be available to reserve from this weekend, with the first people to move in as early as next spring.
The new homes include the five-bedroom Bridgeford with its stunning feature staircase, gallery landing, and luxurious en-suite principal bedroom.
The four-bedroom Lockwood features an open plan kitchen/dining area with French doors to the garden and two en-suite bedrooms.
The development will also feature the three-bedroom Carlton, with dual aspect lounge, open plan kitchen dining area with French doors to the garden and an en-suite principal bedroom.
Lanarkshire has been a significant focus for Miller Homes, building nine new developments to meet the high demand for families looking to make the region home.
Louise Caldwell, Sales Director for Miller Homes West, said: “Towns like Hamilton appeal to families at all ages and stages as they offer something for everyone, from exceptional connectivity, the town’s ample shopping, leisure, sport, and entertainment amenities, as well as a multitude of green spaces for enjoying the great outdoors.
"Commuting has become part of the norm, so people are looking for homes out of the city to enjoy more semi-rural surroundings, which makes locations like Highstonehall Park so desirable.”
Homes at Highstonehall Park will be available to reserve online from 9am on Saturday, August 27, with the first homes ready to move into in spring next year.
