During the trial for the murders of two teenage girls in Delphi, Indiana, new information has come to light, shedding more insight into the tragic events that took place in 2017.

One crucial development was the rediscovery of a tip from Richard Allen, who claimed to have seen three girls on the Monon High Bridge Trail around the time the victims went missing. This tip, initially overlooked, resurfaced in 2022 and led to Allen's arrest.

Autopsy findings revealed that both victims had neck wounds consistent with a serrated edge, with one of the girls bleeding to death within minutes. Despite the brutal nature of the crime, there were no signs of sexual assault or defensive wounds on the victims' bodies.

Prosecutors presented evidence linking Allen to the crime scene, including an unspent bullet matching a pistol seized from his home. However, the defense raised doubts about the bullet's origin and highlighted the absence of DNA evidence linking Allen to the murders.

A pivotal moment in the trial was the screening of a video captured on one of the victim's cell phones, showing the infamous 'Bridge Guy' who authorities believe is responsible for the girls' deaths. Witnesses testified to encountering a suspicious individual matching the description of the man in the video.

While the trial has unveiled a wealth of new information, the motive behind the killings remains unclear. The defense has introduced a theory suggesting the murders may have been part of a ritualistic act, potentially linked to Odinism.

As the trial progresses, the case continues to captivate the public's attention, with each revelation bringing both clarity and further questions to the forefront.
