New date confirmed for Tottenham's league game at Burnley as club announce offer for supporters

The Premier League have confirmed a new date for Tottenham's game away at Burnley following the postponement of the original fixture back in November.

Due to take on Sean Dyche's side on Sunday, November 28 in Lancashire, the game was called off due to adverse weather conditions at Turf Moor.

Tottenham had arrived at the stadium shortly before an announcement was made but the pitch was unfortunately deemed unplayable.

The rearranged game between the two will now take place on Wednesday, February 23, with a 7.30pm kick-off.

Tottenham have confirmed on their official website that the club is offering free coach travel for supporters attending the rearranged fixture.

However, coach bookings will be verified against the club's record of match ticket purchasers and only supporters who purchased a valid match ticket will be eligible to travel.

The new date for Spurs' trip to Burnley comes in a key week for Antonio Conte's men in the top-four race as they face three away games in a row.

Travelling to Man City on Saturday, February 19, the Lilywhites then play Leeds United at Elland Road three days after their game against Burnley.

Prior to those three away games, Spurs are at home to Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup and Southampton and Wolves in the Premier League.
